Printing Photos from Email (KB325465)

Applies to:
-Users running Windows 7, and using a desktop version of Microsoft Outlook as their email client.

Description:
When a user receives an email containing a photo attachment in Microsoft Outlook and wishes to print the photo, printing through the email client result in photos too big for 1 piece of paper or very small images.

Solution:
Download the photo to the desktop by right-clicking on the image to be printed in the email client. Select "Save as", then choose the "Desktop" folder from the dialog box. Type in a name for the image or accept the current name and click "Save". Close or minimize the Microsoft Outlook window and any other open windows and find the image on the desktop. Double click to open the image or right click and select "Print". A dialog box should open giving the user options for how to print the image, what printer to send the image to, etc. Once the user has selected the appropriate settings and clicked print, the image should print as desired.

TIP:  Don't forget to move the image from your desktop into your Photos folder or into the Recycle Bin. Deleting the photo from your desktop will NOT delete the image from your email inbox. If you wish to delete the image from your email inbox, you must delete the email that it was attached to.
